When we opened in September 2004, our goal was to create the best neighborhood store in Nolita New York: Which means having a majority of affordable wines under $20. And the greatest estates you can find from all around the world.

Everyday our job is to taste wine for you, and only keep what we think it’s delicious. We reject 3 times more wines than the ones we keep. We also offer off the beat and path wines so you won’t see Yellow tail and other commercial brands here: Only small producers dedicating their soul to Vineyards and organic wines.

We already leave in a world of standardized taste for a lot off products that we buy. Wine is starting to be uniformed like sodas to please a crowd majority with chemicals and proceeds to enhance a certain taste. Our philosophy is to select vineyards promoting what the French called terroir (which is a group of vineyards (or even vines) from the same region, that are sharing the same type of soil, weather conditions, grapes and wine making savoir-faire, which contribute to give its specific personality to the wine.)

Why Organic Wines?

Some people seem to think it’s more appropriate to call them natural wines: because they are made that way not only for healthier reason. They have a truer taste to their “Terroir” than a mass-produced wine. And also, they are usually unfiltered and made with wild yeast so every single particles of flavor exhibits complexity in your mouth, down to your throat…

Our great staff is also composed by individuals, which are originals. Knowledgeable with great personality but always humble: So your experience with Wine Therapy will be the more enjoyable possible…
