2.Veranda Pinot noir Chile 2007 Made by a famous French winemaker from Burgundy, you would pay 3 times the price if it was made in France: so it's a really good value:
This Pinot Noir has exquisite aroma, high concentration and a beautiful ruby colour. With fruity aromas like cherry, strawberries, and at the same time notes of tea and, earth and spicy tones.
3.Marco Porello arneis peidmont Italy 2007 Our only white of the night: according to the wall street journal this is the best of the best for the 2007 vintage:"Very Good/Delicious Best of tasting and best value. Nutty, rich and easy to drink, with real character. Earthy and dry, with ripe fruit held in check by well-integrated acids. Thoughtful and balanced."
